Two Mile Bottom car park has a low usage during the day and suffers from anti social behaviour during the evening which creates high maintenance costs from waste disposal and surface maintenance.  To reduce maintenance and use cost savings to help sustain other more popular recreation sites we are considering reducing the size of the car park or closing it.  Before any decisions are made we would like to hear from visitors to Thetford Forest to let us know preferences regarding whether the car park should be:

  • Closed and cost saving invested into other more popular recreation sites around Thetford Forest

or

  • Reduced in size to decrease maintenance costs but still allow its small number of visitors to use it.

We are also interested in any other ideas you would like to share with us regarding Two mile Bottom car park.
