The Stakeholder Engagement Framework (SEF) is a response to the direction set by the Independent Panel on Foresty.  It's aimed at improving community engagement, transparency and accountability to support decision making at a strategic district level.

What's the discussion about?

Currently the SEF is being piloted until March 2015 alongside 3 everyday working scenarios in the East England Forest District.  There are opportunities to get involved practically with the pilot from now until March, however, we would appreciate any thoughts or feedback on the actual framework and the process we went through to develop it.  The SEF will continue to evolve as we learn from it's practical use during the pilot and your feedback will also contribute to that learning process.

Please download the Stakeholder Engagement Framework Summary which discribes how the SEF was developed, the consultation process and how the SEF works, inorder to provide feedback.  We would be grateful if you would consider the following questions in your feedback:

  • Do you feel the consultation and development process outlined in section 2 and 3 was sufficient?

  • Does the proposed Stakeholder Engagement Framework (discribed in section 4) appear to address the issues identified in section 3 and Appendices 1 and 2?

Click on the "Submit an Idea" button in the top right hand corner to add your feedback.  Please provide a short explanation for your response and any other points you may feel are relevant.  This discussion will run from the 17th of November 2014 to the 10th of October 2015.
